Commitment
We want this site to be usable by as many people as possible, including screen reader users, keyboard users, and visitors who need to enlarge text.
Reference standard
This site is built with the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.2 level AA as its target. That is a stated target, not a certification — the site has not been through a third-party accessibility audit.
What is already in place
Things that are part of the site as it stands:
- A skip link to the main content as the first tab stop on every page
- Visible focus indicators on every interactive element, never removed
- A sequential heading structure and landmark regions for navigation, main content, and footer
- Descriptive alternative text on every product image, naming which view is shown
- Forms with associated labels, announced error messages, and marked invalid fields
- Full support for the operating system's reduced-motion preference
- Overlays that close on Escape and return focus
What is still outstanding
We record known limitations openly:
- Focus trapping inside overlays is basic and does not yet cycle fully
- Contrast ratios for secondary text on light backgrounds have not been verified across every combination
- No testing has been carried out with real screen readers across a range of browsers
- The price range slider has no numeric input alternative for keyboard users
Reporting a barrier
If you find part of the site hard to use, describe it through the Contact page. Where possible, mention the page and the assistive technology you were using. Reports like that are genuinely useful and we will act on them.
