Service status
Kainku currently operates as a demonstration build. The catalogue, cart, and checkout flow are fully usable on the interface side, but they are not connected to a payment gateway, an inventory system, or a courier.
In practice: placing an order takes no money, reduces no stock, and dispatches nothing. The terms below are written to apply once the service runs in full.
Using the site
You are welcome to browse the catalogue, save filtered links, and contact us. You may not scrape the site's content in bulk, disrupt its availability, or use the forms to send unsolicited messages.
Pricing
All prices are shown in Indonesian Rupiah and apply per metre of fabric unless stated otherwise. The prices in this demonstration build are illustrative figures and do not constitute a binding offer.
Once the service runs in full, the price that applies is the one shown when the order is confirmed. Shipping is calculated separately and displayed before the order is completed.
Ordering and cutting
Fabric is sold by the metre, with the minimum order and cutting increment stated on every product page. Because cloth is cut to your ordered length, an order that has reached the cutting stage cannot have its length changed.
- The delivered length may differ by up to 2 cm from the ordered length as a result of cutting
- The stated width is an average and may vary by a few centimetres between rolls
- If your order requires one continuous length, say so in the notes field at checkout
Availability
Stock figures on the site are indicative. If the fabric you ordered turns out not to be available in the length requested, we will contact you to offer the available length, an alternative motif, or cancellation with a full refund.
Colour and pattern variation
The colour on your screen depends on your device and its settings, so it may differ from the actual cloth. Patterned fabric can also vary between production runs. Reasonable variation of this kind is not treated as a defect.
Intellectual property
The code, layout, text, and generated motif imagery on this site are Kainku's own work. The traditional motif names referenced are shared cultural heritage and are not our trade marks.
Limits of liability
Our liability for any order is limited to the value of that order. We are not liable for indirect losses, including lost time or a failed sewing project resulting from colour variation, shrinkage, or a miscalculated fabric requirement.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of Indonesia. In the event of a dispute, we would rather settle it by discussion through the contact channels available.
