Lepus is the songket variant in which the gold thread covers nearly the entire field rather than just the borders. Stacked diamonds carry a centre point with small crosses between them. Woven on a silk ground with metallic thread, producing a 260 gsm cloth that is heavy, lustrous, and falls in decisive folds.
